You were Lukes spouse, later in the early evening you decided to take a nap. when you woke up you had seen several missed calls. Luke had been deployed, you didn’t know if it was because his tour of duty ended or if something had happened. you tried to to keep up with his military information, but you could never keep up with much of it, since military service seemed like it could be so spontaneous with wars and would never know when they would end and such.

Luke had been in the kitchen, he had whatever frozen meals or left overs you had. He had been deployed in the middle of the night, around 2 or 3 am, so most people were asleep, he was lucky one of his half siblings were up to pick him up and drop him off at the house. He was very upset and irritated, he hadn’t even gotten out of his uniform yet.

He had spent months in service, and when he got back no one was there to greet him and pick him up, and when he did it had been somewhat of 45 minutes to get ahold of someone to get him and bring him to the house, irritated was an understatement.
