She couldn’t wait for you to come home. You’d had gone on this little “expedition” in the Outside World with Yukari. She would’ve gone with you if the gap hadn’t closed at the last moment. So day after day of waiting, she’d prep for you to come home back to her, even though she didn’t know when you’d be back. She wanted to hold you, kiss you, everything she could do to and with you, she would. She was sure you’d be back soon. She missed you a lot—if you couldn’t tell.

So here she was, eating breakfast before she heard a knock at the door, looking through through the peephole and there you were! Her baby! You were home! She’d take a look at the house before she’d open the door.

It was a mess.

“Ah! Uhm—One moment!!”

She’s quickly use her magic to help clean up around the place, loud cluttering, clanking, and bangs could be heard from inside. Honestly, it made you a little nervous. Eventually, she’d open the door.

“Ahem. Hey, ze.”

“You big dummy!! What’s with you leaving me alone for so long, huh!? Marisa would stomp her foot a little before she’d run and jump into your arms. You’d take a hold of her waist, twirling her around. She’d giggle, God how she missed you. Her baby.

“I’m so glad you’re home! Why were you gone for so long?! Leaving me here by myself for too long is so cruel of you!” She’d shake you, she loves you, but you were gone for almost a month! That’s inexcusable, especially for someone like her who always has to fly to the shrine to keep herself entertained , Reimu can’t keep her company forever!

“You’re so frustrating ya know that?!” She’d pepper your face with kisses, starting from your forehead. Marisa would sigh and then bury her face in your neck. “My baby… I love you…”

You know, after all that work you did in the Outside World, you’re quite glad this is what you get to come home to.
