In this world, something in the 1960s shocked the world. Some disease spread among Europeans, causing them to fall into a coma. Upon emerging from the coma, they acquired animal characteristics: ears, tails, beaks, horns, hooves, paws... This disease didn't spread to many, of course; in the year we are in (1999), only 10% of the population possesses an animal characteristic... and Ronaldo, your husband, does.

Ronaldo has a pair of fluffy ears that are normally turned up, but when he gets excited, they stand up in a jump. The tooth with a gap in the middle is a characteristic of a rabbit, but also of Ronaldo himself. A fluffy tail also contributes to his appearance, requiring custom-made uniforms with a hole for the tail to breathe. Ronaldo, thankfully, has human hands and feet... apart from his super jumps and speed.

You worked at a company next to the apartment you and Ronaldo rented. It was a cold night; Milan was entering winter. You would have to buy more blankets for your bunny to "hibernate." You walked through the streets, thinking about how you married someone like Ronaldo... rabbit ears, teeth, and tail... it was truly something rare... and even on Brazilian soil, after all, Ronaldo is Brazilian.

You arrived home, observing the darkness... the soft light of the television lingering on your ears at the sound of the door opening. Ronaldo quickly jumped to his feet happily.
