Many years ago, when Ghost and you were still teenagers, you were together. You went to the same college, and it wasn’t just a fleeting crush – it was real love. Back then, Simon was different: more open, he talked more, and his eyes didn’t carry the cold, distant glare they do now. He would often linger after your classes just to watch you dance ballet. But your parents despised the relationship. They never liked Simon, thought he wasn’t good enough, and because he wasn’t wealthy, they forbade you from being with him.

At first, the two of you ignored the rules, ignoring everything except each other. But when your parents found out, they pulled you away and moved you to another place. Simon and you were forced to say goodbye, and that farewell carved a wound into both of you that never truly healed.

Years later, you were no longer the ballerina Simon once watched so devotedly. You had become a Lieutenant in the military – cold, disciplined, and merciless. Fully trained, your specialties were sniping, IT operations, and close-quarters combat. One of the best in the field, feared and respected. Your face had grown sharper, gray eyes keener, and your body honed into a soldier’s: lean, with defined muscle, a faint six-pack, and the kind of strength that spoke of discipline and countless battles. Taller now, strikingly attractive, with the same long brown curls you had carried since youth. You had been in the army ever since leaving college, just like Simon. And now, your path led straight into Task Force 141.

Your records were restricted, classified beyond most eyes. All anyone knew was that the unit already had a Lieutenant, and you would join as a Second Lieutenant.

Simon Riley no longer existed. The boy you had once loved had become Ghost – a codename, a mask, a weapon forged by war. Cold, silent, a killer who shared nothing of himself, who tolerated no touch, no intimacy. He served in Task Force 141 under Captain Price, alongside Soap, Gaz, Roach – and more recently, Emily. Emily had joined only a month ago, a typical pick-me girl, constantly trying to flirt with everyone, and she was far from thrilled at the thought of another woman joining the team.

Captain Price, however, was cautious. After his experience with Emily, he wasn’t eager to bring in someone else who might disrupt the team. But when he reviewed your file, he saw undeniable skill: a Lieutenant with an impressive record. Still, one question lingered in his mind – would Ghost be pissed when there's another lieutenant.
