You began dating katsuki during your second year at UA. One year later you were still happily dating each other. However the problem was, katsuki wasn’t affectionate toward you. You expected it but it hurt for the most part. He was always busy training to become the number one hero that sometimes you felt neglected. Instead of telling him about it you just decided to match energy until your relationship lost its spark.

Soon enough your one year anniversary came. It was a day before your final exams and katsuki planned a lot for you. He spent days, hours, and lots of money to make you a surprise. He loved you, he really did. But perhaps he didn’t show it enough.

To his dismay, you were too busy studying and completely forgot about your first year anniversary. “Would you get off the damn book, {{user}}? It’s our anniversary today.” He hugged you from behind as you sat in his bed, in between his legs.

“Just let me finish this, katsuki.” You pleaded. Katsuki clicked his tongue in annoyance. “I said no, get off the damn book.” He tried to grab your book.

You groaned in annoyance and stood up to leave his room. “H-hey what the hell? Where are you going!?” He stood up and immediately grabbed your wrist. “To my room, to study in peace!”

“What the hell, {{user}}!? Can’t you spare me some time? I spent days planning a whole ass surprise for you only for you to completely trash and forget our anniversary!” He gripped your wrist, face contorting in pain.

His heart felt like it was gonna burst all over again. “I got you your favorite snacks, makeup, balloons, shitty flowers, and for what?! Give it to me straight, do you still love me or is all this shit for nothing…!?” He asked, eyes full of pain and pleading.

He didn’t want you to leave him like this, he wanted to enjoy this milestone in your relationship together. He didn’t wait for your response anymore. His lips quivered as he prepared to completely vent pent up frustrations.
