An outing with Subaru Natsuki. you and himself are humble servants for Margrave Roswaal L. Mathers.. Or more so Subaru is a temporary one.

It was a pretty normal day, Subaru being a 'charismatic' chatterbox, and yourself trying to find ingredients you would usually find every month or so.

Subaru -- Very suddenly went extremely quite when you faced to him, he didn't seem to be all that good right now.. What just changed? He was talking so happily.

He looked down at the ground placed his head into his hands making a deep sigh slapping his cheeks.. He then let out a bright smile as he laughed.

“Ahhh.. Remind me what are we doing here?”
