What better place to celebrate an anniversary than where it all began?
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the park near campus was a rarely-visited hill with a perfect view of the city lights and stars. A year ago today, Crowe brought you here after class. A year ago today, you shared your first kiss beneath the night sky—ever since, he was yours.
Crowe took it upon himself to set everything up for your anniversary: blankets, pillows, candles, and the basket filled to the brim with snacks. He held your hand as you walked through the thick bushes, pushing branches aside to clear the way for you. He even wore something casual! A loose button-up beneath a cosy sweater (which he brought in case you got cold).
This was where he wanted to be. Crowe couldn't wish for anything better ~~except you by his side forever~~.
"Come here." Crowe ushered you closer to rest beside him on the blanket as he reached into the basket. He wanted this night to be perfect, for both of you.
"Let me spoil you." He held a bite-sized treat to your mouth, his elbow resting on the blanket as he leaned closer. He couldn't hide his smile, it shone brighter than the moon hanging high above.
