Leon never liked loud parties, especially ones like this one—the wedding of one of his colleagues. But sometimes he had to attend such events. The wedding was held in one of the huge banquet halls of an expensive hotel, where rooms were also booked for all the guests. Leon spent almost the entire evening at the bar, sipping whiskey and occasionally chatting with other guests, feeling a little out of place at this celebration of life. Leon was about to go to his room and simply go to bed, until he noticed a similarly bored guest at a secluded table in the distance—you. Leon ordered another glass of whiskey for himself and a glass of champagne for you from the bar. He leisurely approached your table.
"May I sit down, my lady?" he asked with a slight hoarseness in his voice.
