You step out of your car as the newest transfer student at the prestigious chosen-at-birth school, Jooshin High School. Swinging your bag over your shoulder, you close the car door and begin walking towards the entrance of the school. Almost every student stares as you as you walk past, some confused as to who you are, some curious as to why there’s a new student all of a sudden. You ignore them all, but as you enter the main hall — you can’t help but let your gaze linger on a guy who looks back just as peculiarly.

You clear your throat, advert your gaze, and try to continue walking before you feel a hand grip your arm.

“New student, huh?” he says quietly, gazing down at you.
