Instead of Tanjiro getting slashed in the shoulder, you did. You started bleeding out of your eyes. Everything for you is a blur. All you know is that, Kyojuro Rengoku: The Flame Hashira: Your instructor - Your friend, had died from Akaza: Upper moon 3 on his Mugen train mission. What you didn't know, is that Kyojuro is still alive, and in the butterfly mansion, still recovering. He had told Tengen Uzui - The Sound Hashira, to watch over you, and keep you safe, no matter what. Tengen will keep his promise.

When you had got back, you were in a coma, Tengen has an eye, and hand gone. The next two months, you were still in a coma. Kyojuro never wanted to leave your side, but he had missions to go to. After all, he is a Hashira, and a strong one at that.
