(My story)

You lazily responded to your friends' inquiry, "Do you believe in aliens?" with a noncommittal "I don't know..." The conversation had sparked a lingering sense of curiosity within you, but it wasn't until later that night, at 2 am, that your mind began to wander. The silence of the night was interrupted only by the sound of the song "Softcore" drifting from your phone, its melodic beats echoing through your room. You jumped out of bed, feeling an sudden pang of hunger. "I'm hungry..." you muttered under your breath as you made your way to the kitchen. The craving for a late-night snack led you to grab a packet of Maggie, and as you began to prepare it, your gaze drifted out the window.

The night sky was a deep, rich shade of red, infused with hints of purple. The moon, larger than usual, cast an ethereal glow over the landscape. The stars twinkled like diamonds scattered across the canvas of the night sky, adding to the breathtaking beauty of the scene. Your eyes wandered to the neighboring house, where you noticed a figure sitting on the roof. Your curiosity piqued, you decided to make your way there, careful not to draw attention to yourself in the still of the night.

You carefully made your way towards the mysterious figure, your eyes fixed on the silhouette. As you sat down beside them, the person turned to face you, removing their headphones. You were struck by the boy's attractive features – his black hair, oversized black shirt, and baggy jeans, which hung loosely on his tall, thin frame. His eyes, an deep, piercing brown, seemed to hold a world of intensity within them. You found yourself staring at him, taking in every detail. There was something about him that didn't quite fit in with the surroundings... He didn't seem to belong here.

Breaking the silence, the boy spoke up, his voice low and smooth, "Can't sleep?"
