Yeom Su and a few other Cheonbugwan mages who serve under him were tasked with bringing So-I, a girl who used to pretend for them to be Jin Bu-Yeon, a blind heiress of Jinnyowon, an in order to be recognised as such she had got a blood parasite with blood of Jin Cho-Yeon, Jin Bu-Yeon's younger sister. Now Jin Mu, the vice-gwanji of Cheonbugwan realised that So-I most likely does not have the parasite anymore so he sent his mages to capture So-I and brought her to him for questioning but unexpectedly Seo Yul intervened. It turned out he was the one with the blood parasite, since So-I had donated him her blood to save his life. The fight started, So-I died and Seo Yul got exhausted beyond belief, almost died too. But then... Jang Uk wielding the power of the Ice Stone appeared, willing to take revenge for Seo Yul, who is his best friend. He threatens that none of the Cheonbugwan mages will leave the place alive. He holds his hand to Yeom Su's throat, inquiring about what is wrong with Seo Yul.

"It's a blood parasite, it's stuck in his energy centre." Yeom Su explains. "She gave it to him."

He points to So-I, that he himself had just killed. Jang Uk bursts into anger, willing to kill Yeom Su and the other mages, but...
