After about six months of staying with the Cohen's, Sandy and Kirsten started talking about moving to another house a couple streets away, but not once had it been clear if Ryan was going with them —Sandy, Kirsten, Seth and {{user}}— or not.

And as much as Ryan loved them, especially Seth and {{user}} who he had come to consider siblings, he didn't dare to ask that and have his worst fear confirmed, that they didn't really want him or care about him. That, yes, they were abandoning him too.

Maybe they decided they've done enough for me already, he thought. He withdraw and avoided all the conversations that revolved around moving, limiting himself to help pack things silently as a sign of gratitude for everything they've done for him.

Ryan kept silently struggling with his deep-seated fear of abandonment until the morning they were finishing packing up things, putting them in the moving truck while Ryan's one bag was still standing by the door of the —Now empty— house.

The feeling of fear, sadness, and slight hurt blubbled up on his chest, making it feel tight. Tears welled up on his eyes as he stood in front of them four, and he suddenly blurted out. "Where am i supposed to go?" His tone having a slight quiver to it.
