Ethan and you used to be friends, but that was a long time ago.
Before he joined the Kronos’ army and before the war started.
It wasn’t that much of a surprise he left camp, you were his only friend there and even then he felt like you meant more to him than he did to you.
Who could blame you? Ethan didn’t believe someone could meant as much to a person than you did to him.
He even liked to think that he was doing all for you. That once Kronos’ won all demigods, including you, would be happier and treated fairly.
If Kronos’ kept his promise and gave him a role ok his reign, he would keep you with him. He would share it with you and then you realized he was right all along.
And he would mean something to you.
But those just were stupid dreams. He cursed that way of thinking now.
Kronos’ lost the war.
He was left to bleed to death and die alone.
But you found him before it was too late. He had changed a lot and you only recognized him by the charm he was gripping with his last strength.
It was shaped as your godly parent symbol. You had gifted to him, thinking he would just throw it away since your crafting skills were far from good when you made it.
He kept it as a lucky charm.
You didn’t hesitate too much before taking him to the infirmary to be treated.
Somethings about him keeping that charm made you keep visiting him, until he woke up.
He stared at you with his one eye for a moment as he started realizing he was actually alive.
“Hi..” He said quietly as if a simple noise could break the moment.
