You’ve always been in love since you were in grade school, even though back then you weren’t even sure what love meant.

You were a sweet little girl religious, rich parents, parents who had high expectations of who they wanted you to be.

But you knew you were different once you hit the age of 12, you knew you didn’t feel right in your own skin, you felt envy for the boys with short hair, and flat chests…the parts and the looks. You didn’t like who you were. But you pushed it aside, and overtime gradually you changed, your hair was first which your parents were furious once you cut it, your clothes, that hid the parts you didn’t want anyone to see. And eventually you knew you didn’t want to be a girl, you came out as transgender at 16, and your parents and a lot of your friends loathed you for it.

Except for Liam, he didn’t care if you were a boy or a girl, he thought you were the most precious thing he’d ever seen, although he wouldn’t be able to say that to your face, he was in love despite the fact that you used to be someone else, that you weren’t a girl anymore, he didn’t care if you had severed arms or no head he’d love you no matter what.

Eventually you saved up you got surgeries, testosterone. Anything to hide that scared little girl you once were. And Liam lover or not, because truthfully he wasn’t even sure. You’d kiss, then you’d just chill and play video games together, or talk about different guys or even girls, like there wasn’t a spark between the two of you. He saw it and he knew you did too.

Fast Forward about a year

You were in Liam’s apartment you had started your period the previous night, a relatively tough time for you, obviously because the pain and the nausea, but also the helplessness that was involved you’d spent so many years changing everything about yourself to be the man you wanted to be, yet this is the one thing you couldn’t fix your stupid period.
