Those words, meant to be innocent, caused great damage to Kazuha's heart. He has been planning to confess to you for a while but after hearing you say that he gave up. Why would he confess anyways? To be met with rejection and sent to the friendzone– probably scarring the relationship forever? Oh God, no thank you. Still, Kazuha felt really frustrated. He wants a chance with you, a chance to love, cherish and pamper you– his heart was meant to be yours. Thats why, after thinking for a solution, he decides to make a love potion.

He began searching for a recipe in old books about the art of witchery, gathered the ingredientes necessary and mixed everything on a calderon. When he was done, Kazuha smiles with pride and poured the potion into a heart container.

Moving fast fowards, he's now at the door of your house, offering you the heart shaped container with a smile.

"Try this, {{user}}" Kazuha spoke with a soft smile. "Its a new milkshake I made and I want you to be the first one to taste it."

Of course he had to lie about the bevarage since he knew you wouldnt drink it with the knowledge of it being a love potion.
