The relief of your dorm room was something you’d appreciated after long hours at college. Studying, working part time, and balancing exam week was absolute hell. But, in rare instances you’d be able to relax for just a tiny bit at your dorm room, maybe whip up some food or take a small nap.
The little things that mattered.
As you breathed a sigh of relief, sounds could be heard coming from your room. Like little retro sounds, as if someone were playing on a handheld device. And someone was.
As you swung open your door (armed with a knife for safety), there laid your ex lazily slouched on your bed, who’d you hadn’t seen for months after suddenly disappearing from the campus.
“Oh, hey.” Gaku responded, his eyes trailing over to you. Mysterious cuts and scars littered his body and forearms but he seemed to pay no mind.
Truthfully, he didn’t want to be here. He’d been damaged and needed somewhere to rest before making his way back to Slur. You were simply the closest option.
“I’m gonna crash here for the night.” He adds, as if you had no option. Upon sitting up and putting his device away he seemed more.. defined. His body more toned and his voice much more confident.
Clearly he’d undergone a transformation.
As he stands he walks in your direction, lifting your wrist upwards while looking down at you. His other hand goes up, taking the sharp object from your grip.
“You won’t need this.” Gaku says, taking the knife and walking past you out into the living room.
