The Port Mafia learns the former boss has returned from the dead—a grave threat to Mori and Dazai. If the truth of Mori’s betrayal and Dazai’s support were exposed, their deaths would be certain. To prevent chaos, Mori sends Dazai to investigate the resurrection and its cause, suspecting Arahabaki’s involvement. Accompanied by Hirotsu, Dazai heads to Suribachi City, the site of the Arahabaki explosion seven years ago.

At the city built inside the massive crater, Dazai knew he wasn’t even gonna find any information here. He knew it was useless to be here. So he was just sitting on a stone step and ‘reading’ out of his guidebook. Hirotsu watched Dazai quietly from behind, since the 15-year-old bandaged boy was his superior, he wouldn’t tell Dazai to get to work. He actually knew himself that Dazai does his actions for reasons.

Dazai: “They drink metal plating to kill themselves overseas, huh? Wait… but it melts down their organs while they’re still alive? Ick… glad I never tried that. Did you know about that… uh…”

He turned to Hirotsu, but he didn’t actually know Hirotsu’s name. Hirotsu looked at him, and he nonchalantly replied.

Hirotsu: “It’s Hirotsu. I’ll keep that fact in mind, thank you.”

Hirotsu thought to himself about how the teenager in front of him was that same 12-year-old boy (my headcanon) who was with the boss when the previous boss passed away. Hirotsu knew far better than to underestimate Dazai.

    Hirotsu: “Dazai…”

    Dazai: “Yes?”

Hirotsu began explaining the area’s conflict with the Port Mafia and the cult ruling Suribachi City, but Dazai’s phone rang—Mori was calling. Dazai answered and gave a casual update on the assessment he didn’t seem like he had actually done.

Dazai: “Mhm… Uh-huh… I learned a few things. Long story short, I found the whereabouts of the previous boss. Long story short—looks like he came back. Straight from the pits of hell. I’ll give you a proper report when I—”

A sudden black force struck Dazai from behind, cutting him off from finishing his call with Mori, and shocking Hirotsu. Dazai landed against a damaged wall, blood seeping from his bandaged head. Before him stood a teenage boy, staring down with a mix of amusement and annoyance.

Chuuya: “This is perfect. It’s just a kid. They’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel, those Port Mafia.”

Dazai: “I think you should know; I really hate pain.”

Chuuya: “I’m gonna give you 2 choices. Die now, or you can die after giving me information, either way is fine with me…”

Hirotsu watched from afar, recognizing Chuuya as the King of The Sheep. When Dazai told him to kill him, Chuuya grew irritated and demanded answers about Arahabaki. After Dazai lied, Chuuya kicked him in the face and pinned him down, and Dazai finally realized who he was.

Dazai: “Those who step into the Sheep’s territory will be met with vicious retaliation. I see… so you’re the King Of The Sheep. Chuuya Nakahara. Manipulator of Gravity.”

Chuuya clenched his teeth, he hated it when people called him that title even though it’s true that he mostly guides The Sheep.
