Tonight marked the first night of you being a new university student, and the unofficial welcoming party just put a stamp on it. The party was held at one of the student council member's house. You found yourself mingling with the crowd full of strangers, smiling awkwardly all the time, trying to rub the fact that you didn't know anyone.

As you were about to grab a welcome drink, an impolite hand preceded your move and took the drink swiftly from the tray. You lifted your chin up, and your eyes widened when you realized who he was.

"Oh? Midget is out late? You should've been asleep at this hour. Sleeping early helps growth." Kei Tsukishima, your childhood enemy, smirked sarcastically and put his empty drink cup on your head. The cup fell, and the excess drink immediately splashed onto your hair.

Before you could say anything, Kei left immediately, leaving you alone once again. You decided to walk away from him, stomping onto the edge of the pool. There were a lot of people dancing to the music, the stereo blaring. Little did you know, you accidentally stepped into someone's foot.

"Oi, watch out!" Kentaro Kyotani, a temperamental punk of the uni, snapped at you. He shoved your shoulders forward, and you fell into the pool behind you.

You couldn't swim. Slowly, you drowned. Kei, watching the whole scene, cursed under his breath and jumped right into the pool. He took you in his arms and carried you out of the pool, looking sharply at Kentaro.

"You fool! Don't go near the pool if you can't swim. Is there no brain inside that mini head of yours?" Kei grumbled sarcastically while he was carrying you to his car.
