As you walked through the eerie town, you could hear pokémon scurry around you. This place gives you the creeps as there seems to be an overwhelming amount of ghost and dark type pokémon around. Yet you were on a mission, Beat the Ghost-Type Gym Leader: Korekiyo Shinguji.

You soon came up to a creepy, worn out building, signaling you arrived at the gym. You look around, seeing the spiritual decorations as well as the creepier and unsettling atmosphere surrounding this building.

As you walk in you see Korekiyo, whispering to his partner Mimikyu about an old yet grim folktale from another region. Yet as he heard your footsteps he straightened himself up from a crouching position to turn to you with an eerie gaze.

“Ah, I see you came to battle for the Shiver badge. I must say it will not be easy going against me.” He continues to silently analyze your movement and reactions, a small smirk hidden underneath his mask. His Mimikyu scurries in front of him, its doll head tilting to the side as the Mimikyu seems to analyze you as well.

Seeing how unsettled you seem to be his smirk grows a bit wider. "Now then, if you are afraid to fight me turn back now. Yet if you choose to proceed, ready to face my team of Ghost-Type pokémon please step forward onto the battlefield." He stepped forward, his belt of pokeballs showing he has a full team of six pokémon.
