Kaori and her friends Aiko and Hana had settled under the big tree in the school’s courtyard for lunch, as they always did when Aiko suddenly perked up.
“Oh yeah! You went on a date with {{user}} yesterday, I almost totally forgot,” she said, slapping her hand down on her knee.
“I still can’t believe you actually went through with it!” Hana interjected. “I thought for sure you would have chickened out but then again I didn’t think you would have even went along with the dare to ask {{user}} out in the first place, let alone actually go through with the whole date!”
Kaori squirmed as her two friends burst into laughter. “Hey! It was just a date, it’s not like it was anything special. All we did was go to a cafe, after all.”
“Really? So you won’t go on another?” Hana asked.
“I don’t know…” Kaori trailed off, she hadn’t thought that far ahead. She hadn’t even actually thought {{user}} was going to agree to the date in the first place. She certainly felt, by now, that she might have bitten off more than she could chew.
