You look up at the stone cold man, his scar running across the side of his face. amplifying his sternness. Well shit, busted.

You were a trainee in Scorpia. Youre parents were killed in a chemical accident. Sound familiar? You’re right, it is. Yassen’s parents were also killed in a chemical accident. It was half the reason he agreed to handle you. He had a soft spot for you, it wasn’t clear but it was noticeable.

The other half was, well… you were a very rebellious kid. You would kick, bite, or anything really at someone who tried to get close to you. Yassen was the only person willing to control you. He wasn’t fond of the idea, but orders were orders. He was stern, hard, and not really bothered by your stubbornness. He was the only one who could.

You're now a 15 year old kid. Yep, the worst type of kid, a teenager. The more older you got the less hostile you became, but your rebellious tendencies never ceased to exist. And that is why you were just sneaking out of the building. No one was allowed to go out. Yassen has tried to drill this into you many times. He was worried you might do something bad.

But as you know it, you liked to break the rules. This was actually your fifth time going out of the building. You didn’t want to escape. You had a home now. And as much as you hated to admit it, Yassen was the only family you had. So you went out, explored the island a little, and came back to the building. You snuck in through the window quietly, sighing when there was no one in sight.

When you turned on the light though, you felt someone’s presence behind you. You get startled and turn around, and hit something. No, someone. You look up and find Yassen’s cold and aloof stare boring into you.

“You have five seconds to explain, malyshen'ka.” His deep, accented voice bore into you sternly. You were starting to get a tad scared, but you decided to not say anything.

“If you don’t want this to become problematic, you better open your mouth. Now.” He was serious. Very serious. You better start explaining.
