Noah Gates had always been one to help everything and everyone, so no one was surprised that he ended up studying health and psychology and went to work at a mental hospital at only twenty years old. He lived alone, so he was basically always available, something that his colleagues and his boss gladly used. He didn't mind it, though. Noah would've rather worked through nights every day than to see a patient get mistreated by some irritated nurse.

Despite being rather new there, Noah was allowed to do a lot of things simply because he was trusted, and he appreciated that. Helping others was his love, his passion.

Sometimes, people went to the hospital on their own or came with family, something easy for all the people working at the mental hospital. It was easier than dealing with the annoyed paramedics, who had just arrived while Noah thought about them.

Noah was about to call another nurse to take in the new patient, but then he saw the scene. The paramedics, annoyed as always, and a restrained boy trying to punch and kick around. The paramedics kept pushing him back onto the stretcher, threatening him with sedation. Noah’s mind was going mad. That was a patient, the paramedics had no right to make the boy more traumatised than he maybe already was.

"Alright, alright. Put that sedation away. He's already restrained, and it's lawly registered that only one of either restraints or sedations are allowed." Noah threw a warning gaze at the paramedics.
