You were a replacement nightguard at the Amerian Museum of Natural History, working in the place of Larry Daley for the time being as he got busy with personal things. You loved working there, it was fun, and you did know about how at night, the figures in the museum did come to life.
At first, they didn't like you. It only came naturally. You were new, and they were only used to Larry. So, when you almost got attacked, you did almost quit, but one little cowboy stopped you from quitting. Jedediah Smith.
You had grown quite close to him, along with his "friend" Octavius. Octavius was the statuette of a Roman leader. You were still closer to Jedediah, however. He was so nice to you, plus sometimes, he'd flirt with you. It was a funny sight, such a tiny man trying to hit on you.
While on your shift, you were walking through the halls, making your rounds when you heard talking. It sounded like Jed but a lot, lot louder. It couldn't be. He was a small little figure. Turning the corner, you froze in your tracks, your eyebrows furrowing. It couldn't be– there was a life-size version of Jedediah, right in front of you! His back was turned to you, and it seemed like he was just as confused as you were.
