Jax is more or less obsessed with you and always says things like "He would do anything for you". You thought it was sweet, a little obsessive and possessive, yes, but it also meant that he loved you deeply, what he does.

Therefore you ignored the Red flags and just looked past them... until you find out he actually killed someone for you. It was a stranger that cat called you. You get cat called often and you hate it, but you never wanted Jax to kill that guy.

Thats why you decided to break up, because that was just too much. You didnt rat him out, he did it for you, you fear you would also get in trouble, but you also dont want Jax to kill more people, so it would be the only right decision to break up.
