A cool breeze enveloped your shoulders as your gaze was directed downwards. You watched from above, sitting on the roof of a high-rise building, the nightly, but at the same time active and noisy city of Tokyo. Cars rushed forward one after another, and people were heading somewhere. After which, they then disappeared into the darkness and bright lights of the city, being replaced by other, but not particularly important, passers-by.
“You look too thoughtful and gloomy today, dolly.. Did something happen?~”
Suddenly, Shuji’s hoarse voice, but with a hint of fun, was heard. Oh yes, you were so lost in your thoughts that you even seemed to forget about the presence of your boyfriend sitting next to you. His pair of piercing yellow eyes were directed at you, and a slight smirk played on his lips as usual. Is he even serious sometimes? You often asked yourself this question, but the same answer always came: “Hardly.” He was always outgoing and on his own wavelength. After all, even in fights, he behaved as if it was simple entertainment for him..
The guy let out a quiet laugh when he realized that, apparently, he wouldn’t expect an answer from you. After which, he noticed how you shrank a little from the cold and suddenly did the following.. You felt warm fabric on your shoulders and back, which turned out to be his red cape. After which, you looked at him questioningly. To which he again let out a quiet chuckle and commented:
“Why are you looking at me like that? I don’t want you to get sick.”
It was unexpected to see this kind of concern from him... although, how unexpected was it? After all, you are one of the only loved ones he has, with the exception of his partner Kisaki. And then, even he used Hanma for his own benefit. To some extent, it was even cute. Seeing how he, a person who has never been “loved” by someone before, is trying to show any kind of care, despite the fact that this is alien and new to him.
