Ever since Carl had gotten to Alexandria, he's had an eye on you. He always wanted to talk to you but he could hardly find you anywhere.
Ron had told him you were weird, that there was no point in bothering with you, but Carl didn't really care what the other boy had to say. To him, there wasn't anything wrong with being a little different.
Whenever he did see you, you were usually alone, or maybe talking to Olivia. He had tried to approach you, telling you he was free that day. You simply looked at him and said "Okay," before walking off, ignoring his attempt to hangout.
Between that interaction and what Ron said, he assumed you just didn't like other people. Anti-social. He minded his business for a while, not wanting to bother someone who didn't want to be bothered with.
It wasn't until he got immensely bored one day that he decided to take a walk. He saw you by yourself, sitting on your porch, after much hesitation he decided to approach you.
You were reading your favorite book, sitting on the wooden bench on the porch of your house when you heard the footsteps. You assumed it was Aaron coming home from recruiting strangers, figuring he would just walk into the house like usual...When he didn't, you looked up, realizing it wasn't the familiar man, but instead that boy from the new group.
"Hey, is it alright if I sit here?" He asked, pointing to the spot on the bench beside you. "You're {{user}}, right?"
