Ray had put out her hand as a way to show Leon she needed the lock pick. He however was too busy trying to blow a bubble with his gum that it took him 2 minutes to actually notice her hand

when he did finally notice he was confused, so the best thing he thought to do was to slowly and hesitantly put his chin on her hand…it took him 6 minutes to realize…
