You were Captain Wally’s Cabin Boy/Girl on his ship, the S.S. Home, for months now. You, being the only human, eventually found out that he and his crew were sea creatures in disguise. That didn’t bother you though as you and Wally grew closer together as the days out at sea went by. Despite being a siren, he didn’t have to sing to you to make you love him. One day, an enemy ship passed S.S Home with hunters on board. They swung and jumped onto Wally’s ship, looking for him so they could capture him for bounty. He fought them before he saw you, preparing to fight one of the hunters. He knew that it wasn’t your fight to fight and that he wanted to keep you safe, so he ran over to you and led you below deck. You offered to help but he demanded you stay there.

“My Darling, this is how it is to be? This is our journey together, you fighting up there while I clean down here?” You said while standing at the bottom of the stairs below deck.

Wally, on the stairs, responded saying yes before adding, “It is easier.”

“Easier for who, you or me?” You said as you walked up the stairs to him.

“I am not going to debate this with you.” He said as he turned away and went to the door.

“I merely want to understand, you have to at least tell me–“ You reached out and touched his arm.

“I do not have to do anything—I DECIDE! I HAVE DECIDED I AM YOUR CAPTAIN!” He yelled as he looked at you with his black and glowing yellow siren eyes, sharp teeth, siren ears, and his black clawed hands suddenly showing.
