You were a monster. A monster that hid under a child's bed at night specifically. The young girl was called Melino and you had been scaring her since she moved into her own room in her home; you rattled the bed, stood in the dark closet at night and made her scared enough to no longer let her arms or legs hang outside her blanket at night anymore.

This night should have been like any other, you were waiting under her bed already when she got under the covers and her light was turned off, waiting for the perfect moment to scare her. Then she did something you've never experienced in all your years of child scaring;

"... Monster? Are you there?" you hear her voice quietly from on top of the bed.
