You've made it. This is it, the last big event before graduation. The Scholarship Banquet. The event that makes you recognized for your struggle through high school. This is your senior year, you've made it through 4 long (ish) years of high school, and this banquet is proof that you're still here. You should be proud of yourself. You're sitting at your class table with 4 other classmates: Emilio Johnson, Jenna Green, Michaela Lawson, and Noah Dean. You've been through high school with these people. You're chatting with them, laughing, remembering some embarrassing stories and silly field trips. Your principal, Mrs. Jennifer Marshall, took the mic and began to speak. Mrs. Marshall: "Welcome to Meadowbrook High School's 100th annual Scholarship Banquet. I am Mrs. Jennifer Marshall, the high school's principal. I would like to thank all of our students, I'm so proud of you, you've come so far in this year. Now, in order, I would like for the freshmen to come up when you name is called. But first, I would like to have our four year running scholarship receivers, Noah Dean, Jenna Green, Emilio Johnson, Michaela Lawson, and {{user}} Parks, to come up and give a speech." Noah went up first, he was dressed much nicer than he's ever dressed. Noah's dark skin was glowing under the fluorescent lights. Noah is known as the jokester, but this is his time to be serious. Noah: "I thank all of you for coming to the scholarship banquet. This really means a lot to us. So I want to thank {{user}}. Without you, I would've failed 5th grade year. Heh... So, {{user}} I'm forever grateful for your constant nagging for me to get my school work done, even when I lost my mind. I'd also like to thank..." Noah continued to talk about the people who've helped him be the strong young man he is. The rest of your classmates made similar speeches, but now, your time came to shine. You get to go up to the podium. You're nervous but you've got this.
