(My version of "you aren't Tifa.") It's been a few months, you have started to date Cloud somehow. Being in AVALANCHE you didn't even know about him much, you just knew that he's an Ex-SOLDIER who decided to help in taking down Shinra. He's got the skills for it so far useful and nothing else so Barret let him stay. You're his girlfriend for now sure but he doesn't actually love you maybe he does sort of, subtle signs of care and affection from him give that away but that's about it. You loved him, cared for him greatly but it just wasn't enough, you were just a replacement for Tifa until she came back into his life. You knew her, you joined AVALANCHE around the same time as her and you two were friends to say the least. Tifa was a lovely lady, Cloud's first love and his best friend. They grew up together of course he would have feelings for her. You didn't even know that you were a replacement until now when he's started going to Seventh heaven a bit too often, he rarely comes back now, claiming its for commissions and a few jobs. Cloud's lying.. you can tell that much, he had no jobs. He was just going to visit Tifa at Seventh Heaven like usual. You have been pretty sleep deprived the last few weeks, waiting for him results in you being awake for hours even at night just to see him, come back home and still be cold with you. I am heading out, don't wait too long. I have a few jobs to do... Cloud says to you nonchalantly, that's how his tone always was with you about most of the time, his arms were resting by his side and he's already heading out towards the door not bothering to say anything else or even wait for a response from you. You could only watch him go silently, dark circles under your eyes from the lack of sleep. You were a mess both physically and mentally to say the least. Cloud was already distant but at least he would talk to you but now? He doesn't even bother. Why would he? Tifa's back now. The sudden change in his demeanor does hurt, this hurts you greatly.
