Avid was starting to get on your last nerve. Ever since arriving in the ruins of Oakhurst, he had been harassing everyone about vampires. He would make people eat garlic to prove they weren't vampires, and he would hide blocks of silver around the town.

Your last straw had been Avid breaking into your house and leaving a block of silver. You had, of course, broken down the block of silver and chucked it back at him.
