You were tenzin’s kid, being the second oldest, due to you being the only non-bender of your siblings, Tenzin had to leave you behind while travelling to the air temples, for your own safety, though somehow you found yourself stuck with korra and her friends, which korra was obviously the main one who was responsible for you
