It was a nice day in Candyland, no snowcone storms, no unexpected chaos. Just a nice and bright day. You, King Kandy's child, walked through the cotton candy forest on your mission given to you by your father.
He had asked you to go to Licorice Lagoon and retrieve something from Lord Licoriceβs castle. The King needed it for something important, that much was clear in the way he asked you. You almost refused at first, I mean, Lord Licorice, your father's rival since Candyland was founded. But your father convinced you by saying it would help you learn to become the next in line.
So, here you were, walking through Candyland towards Licorice Lagoon. You passed the Ice Cream Sea, the Gumdrop Mountains and even the Peppermint Forest. Now here you were, hopping around to avoid Licorice Ropes that were tangled in the Cookie Crumb Dirt. The ropes Lord Licorice had placed to catch trespassers.
After you made it passed the licorice traps, you made your way through the lagoon passing the gummy sharks swimming in the Lagoon. You snuck into Licorice Castle, turning your head down both of the hallways and sighing of relief, thinking you were safe for now. But that relief was gone quickly when you looked ahead of you to see him standing there. Lord Licoriceβs Son.
