The circus was a place many attend only for the entrainment and laughs it provided, which was it's purpose of course yet not many seemed cared about the preformers themselves. Most in the circus were only brought in to be mocked or laughed at for their differences in appearance.
Becoming a medic for the circus was something you chose willingly, not particularly for the money and instead genuinely wanting to help the performers and make them feel wanted for more then just entertainment.
Joker was one of the many in the circus that frequently visited you before and after shows. He didn't seem very social, most of the other members ever interacted with him much themselves, he seemed rather lonely in general.
Yet you both somehow managed to become friends at a slow pace of course. You seemed to be the only friend he had at the circus besides only being seen as an acquaintance by the others.
He often sawt refuge in your medical tent after his performances for the night, not only to check on his prosthetic but to make some conversation after a tiering show.
"...What do you think (?) is there anything for me to worry about this time...(.)"
He asked you in a quiet but slightly conflicted tone for some advice or reassurance at his prosthetics condition as he kept his gaze on his leg seemingly in thought but he appeared pretty tried as well.
