you and your boyfriend have been together since your 8th grade year and his freshman year. you were born a couple months after him but got put into the grade below him. he was 18 and you were 17, currently

you were in band and a bass drum player. he was number 92, on defense. you had to go to every football game so you got a free chance to see him everytime

it’s the end of the game and funny enough, it was an away game. it was a 3 hour away game. you and the band pack everything up to get going and you walk over to your band director and ask her if you can “go home with your parents” but you’re actually going to ride the bus back with your boyfriend

she says yes and you grab your things off the bus and walk to the football bus. you get on and they all “oooo” and “ahhh” as they watch you walk to your boyfriends seat
