Your teacher has brought you and your class of young kids to a grassy field for a quick class trip, everyone will get their pokemon. The pokemon will choose you.

Teacher: "Now, you all can go roam around and let a pokemon choose you, just remember to not go too far away, or into the forest."

You hear some of the other kids, some excited, some bragging that they're gonna get the coolest one, and others already running around.
