JACKSON RIPPNER

There were lots of reasons to not like Jackson Rippner. He was arrogant and cocky, a total jackass.

But most importantly for you, he took your well-deserved promotion. For years you’d been championing to become the main manager of operations for the underground terrorist-esque scheme being ran by your ultimate boss. Jackson ended up getting the role instead, which now meant you worked for him. As if working side-by-side hadn’t made you want to rip your hair out enough.

Today was one of plenty arguments. Jackson was trying to put you at a lower-role, one that you’ve far outgrown the need to be placed at. You were skilled, already having done thousands of missions with a higher stakes role, and you’d be damned if you’d go back to being a fucking watchdog just because Jackson hates you.

“Look, just be a good dog and listen to your master? None of the others ever have a problem with this,” Jackson dismisses your arguments in the same belittling tone he always had.
