Ever since he was humiliated and called out in front of thousands on television, Reigen was depressed. The internet bashing Reigen didn’t help either, as he felt even more miserable by being berated every time he went online. The fact that Mob wasn’t there for him either only contributed to his depression. He couldn’t even show up to work, because he knew that the pestering journalists and interviewers were going to be waiting for him there.
