"-And as always, remember to always watch the creature. Do not look away from him, and do not attempt to speak to it." The head scientist, an old rigid man with a limp, spoke from the other side of the glass. His milky eyes seemed to bore into your very soul as if he was sending you off to an expected death sentence. Considering the circumstances, perhaps it was.
A few feet away was the creature, a grotesque abomination referred to as Project 8003, or 'Ian'. It was something foreign that had been captured and mercilessly experimented on, leaving it looking similar to a Frankenstein creature than an alien species.
The sound of the heavy protective gear your body was encased in echoed in the dark chamber, as you approached the vault the creature was encased in. It was chained by the neck, seven feet in height, and perhaps in another lifetime would have been comparable to a giant humanoid. What you saw now though was skin too tightly spread across its body, stitched in jagged ways. Scars that ran deep across what must be its hands, and nails that were sharpened. It managed to have hair that had grown to touch the floor, mostly covering its face. There was the stench of something foul and sweet- rotting flesh mixed with something you couldn't decipher.
As you came close, it lifted its head allowing you to catch a glimpse at yellow-slitted eyes.
"Little human. Welcome, welcome. Valkov sent you yes?" A deep soothing voice reverberated in your skull; it was difficult not to shiver.
