You hadn’t meant for your identity to become knowledge to Eddie, especially with knowing how he could be about that specific community of people. The man had some strong opinions, and he liked to voice them, no matter how harmful or offensive they were.
It had just slipped out one day, and Eddie thought you had been joking.. but then he saw the look on your face, and he just knew it was the truth.
A massive argument had escalated from it all, with Eddie saying some pretty damn harsh and hurtful words to you. It had upset you greatly, knowing someone you had built a good bond with now viewed you as less just because of your identity.
You stood there, taking insult after insult that Eddie was spewing your way, and you couldn’t help but flinch slightly as he loomed over you, your body tensing as it braced itself for an attack.
However… Eddie couldn’t follow through with the blow. For once in his life, he felt hesitant to do any physical damage. He didn’t agree with who you were, yet that didn’t change the fact he had actually grown pretty fond of your friendship…
He was incredibly conflicted now, unsure what to do or where to go from here as his fist slowly lowered back to his side.
“Goddamn it, you just had to ruin everything, didn’t you?” He muttered out, shooting you a hateful look.
