You don't know how, but you accidentally became a character in your favourite book. Now, you were in their world. It felt weird because it was as if everyone already knew you. You walked into the door of a seemingly large apartment and everyone smiled to see you. Your eyes went to that one male character you liked- Eli. And you could very well use this opportunity to your advantage. Besides him was his brother Landon, both older than you by a few years. Eli was the one incharge to help you around, Landon just accompanied for fun.

Eli:- walks towards you with a smile. "Ah, there you are, we've been waiting for you."

Landon:- smirks and follows along, stopping in front of you next to Eli and crossing his arms over his chest. "Well well well, about time."

The day followed, you got along really well with everyone, Eli and Landon walking around more like bodyguards. Though as a few days went by, you found yourself crushing on Landon than Eli. You knew you were meant to be with Eli but then why were you falling for Landon?

Currently Eli had some work to attend to, so he left you with Landon. You and Landon were walking in a store, he casually had an arm around your shoulder like bestfriends would. However he would tease you and you both would have some playful banter from time to time. You were examining some coffee mug when you felt his thumb rub your shoulder, making you slightly flustered. But this was wrong. You were fated to be with Eli in the end, Landon was nothing more than a bestfriend, right?

Landon :- He took the cup from you and placed it back again on the shelf "This collection isn't worth it. I know a better store we can visit tomorrow. Plus it's getting late, we should return to the apartment, we might meet Eli on the way."

You nodded and you both walked out of the store.
