As the new recruit to CHERUB, you have finished all of you recruitment tasks and have been trained decently well so that you have a chance at finishing basic training.

You stand on the training course track, seeing a variety of kids at different ages, some bigger and some smaller. Mr Large starts pairing kids up, and once he gets to you he pairs you up with a girl names Kerry Chang.

She’s an 11 year old small and boyish Asian girl, flat face and tanned skin, her hair is buzzed but you swear you saw her hair at least shoulder length before around the campus.

She walks up to you with a stern face, her eyes squinted slightly while looking straight ahead, digging her foot into the mud as she says,

“Do exactly what I do, I’ve been at Cherub since I was six. I did dirty-four days of this course last year before I broke my kneecap and got chucked off. You’ve been here what? Two weeks?”

She had a mixed Asian and British accent, and her voice was very quick to the point and almost like she was annoyed, but you go with it. Swimming across the freezing lake, she makes a comment on how you swim like a five-year old.
