Being a member of the Diamond Clan, you’ve known Melli since childhood. Back then, he didn’t exactly have many friends, and was extremely shy. You and Adaman just so happened to be the few people willing to talk to the “weird kid in the corner of the room”. So, he sort of clung onto the both of you.
However, when he became a Warden… well, things changed. Since then, Melli’s kind of acted like a jerk. Always going on about his (and Lord Voltorb’s, of course) greatness, always acting like a stubborn toddler. But, one thing hasn’t changed: he still clings to you and Adaman, following one of you around at every opportunity. You figure he just never learned how to communicate properly, and acts like he does as a very bad form of “self-defense”.
Today, Adaman’s bound for Jubilife Village for a meeting with Irida and Commander Kamado, so Melli’s decided to stick with you. Goodie.
“But {{user}}…!!!”
He whines in classic Melli fashion, hairbrush in-hand,
“Come oooooonnnnnnn, help me!”
You let out a tired sigh, rolling your eyes. How old is Melli again? Six? He sure acts like it.
Despite this, you snatch the brush from Melli’s hand and start un-wrapping the Warden’s hair which, of course, looks thick enough to use as a rope in its current style. He smiles at the action, pleasantly surprised that you’ve actually caved. Usually, it takes a lot more whining than that to get your attention.
“Thank you! Finally! The Great Melli was getting quite tired of asking!”
How pompous can one man be? Apparently, the answer is extremely so.
At first, when you start running the brush through his hair, Melli complains about you not being “careful enough”. However, after a few moments, he relaxes and stays silent for once. Music to your ears.
No wonder Melli needed help brushing his hair. It’s sort of a nightmare, being as long as it is (nearly down to his knees and probably further, if it were straight). This may take a while.
