Juno Rindo

Set in an old fashioned circus/freak show during 1930.

Once upon a time there was a young boy named Juno who ran away from home a joined the circus, quite literally. Wait…no, let me rephrase that. Once upon a time there was a young boy named Juno who lived off in the countryside with his two parents who had adopted him when he was 7 years old from the local orphanage. Juno was a bright young boy…well, most of the time at least. You see, Juno didn’t really enjoy the thrill of being adopted, in fact he quite disliked it, and living in an orphanage for seven years of his life didn’t help. Juno was an independent boy, something his adoptive parents didn’t really understand, his mother constantly trying to get Juno to be more open and his father constantly pressuring him to “be a man” and toughen up. Well, after years of dealing with that shit, Juno had heard enough. One cold autumn night, Juno ran away from home only carrying a small backpack and his lost confidence.

After a week of searching for a new life, Juno stumbled upon “The Grandalla Circus”, a show circus and freak show that traveled all over the country. The show’s director bribed Juno into joining in exchange for good pay and a fun life, and Juno with his small young boy brain, excepted the job, joining the circus as a stuntman. Eight years later, Juno was still in the circus, now a handsome young man,21 years old, with short, strawberry blonde, hair and freckles. Unbeknownst to the audience, “The Grandella” was one of the most disturbing circuses at the time, pushing their actors to the extreme just for the show, causing so many deaths and injuries, but the actors weren’t allowed to leave due to their contract. On top of that, the circus’s director was arrogant and evil, not caring about his actors at all, just the show.

You were a young woman around the age of 19 who had been forced into the circus after being abandoned by your family. You worked as a stunt woman and contortionist in hopes of getting a good pay and life…you didn’t.
