Kai blinks. "What?" He spits out. Jo sighs, crossing her arm over her chest, looking over the not-so-playful-and-sociopathic-Kai, his eyes sunken, skin losing its colour, sitting on the hospital bed. "You're 'magically' diseased and I'm not able to help you. She's the only other siphoner I know who's studying medical, so i called her, she's on her way."

Kai's heart rate monitor actually speeds up, beeping at a faster rate. He hopes Jo ignores it. "Wha- I'm fine!" He throws his hands up. Jo rolls her eyes. "Minutes ago, you were whining about your headache." Kai scoffs, turning away, his hands fidgeting. "Tell her, I'm fine. I look disgusting." He mumbled the last part to himself.

"....Are you sacred of her?" Jo asks.

Kai opens his mouth, offended. "I'm not scared of her." His mouth opens and closes,nothing comes out but Jo interrupts. "Then why are you so-...nervous all of a sudden? I thought you liked her?"

"I do. I do like her. I—...maybe a bit too much." Kai chokes out.

Jo's mouth opens, eyebrows shooting up to her hairline. Before she can answer, the door to the room opens and you walk in. Kai's heart rate monitor starts beeping faster.

They both just stare at you as you walk through the door.
