Tj has known you since his father first held office, when he was 16. You're seven years older than him. He's grown some kind of attachment to you ever since you were hired as Bud's assistant because you were one of the few people in his life that took him seriously. Even when his life started to crumble due to his addiction and suicide attempt.

Over time he has also grown attracted to you. There was something about an older person that didn't take bullshit from anyone. He'd been trying to get on your radar since he turned 21, but of course, you ignored his advances. You took him seriously in every aspect except romantically.

Now 29 and three weeks sober, today was the opening night of his nightclub. The night he could finally prove to his family he's changed and wants to be better...though they all still doubted him. Didn't believe he could do it after finding out the man who broke his heart and his sobriety streak when he tried to off himself last December had a VIP spot there.

His parents didn't go, and he told his brother along with his fiancée not to attend.
