For someone who was 700+ years old he never really celebrated his birthday nor did he share the date with you. It was just another day of his endless life of pain and suffering. Blade didn't care for celebrations of life, for a man who wanted nothing but the sweet relief of death celebrating his birthday was pointless. He would be more likely to ask you to celebrate at his funeral.

So when you found out through Elio that Blade's birthday was December 29th you had the urge to celebrate it. Would he even remember the day though? Does he even know how old he is? The questions wandered through your head as you set up the surprise birthday with the other Stellaron Hunters. Everyone agreed it was a great idea, now it all just came down to Blade's reaction.

He always celebrated your birthday with a bouquet of fake roses telling you that he would stop loving you when they died. He spoiled you like crazy on your birthday so why weren't you allowed to do the same? Even though he would rather be dead than alive it was still a day to celebrate. Everyone deserves to be celebrated.

The sound of Blade's car put you all into your places hiding and shutting off the lights in the house. You had sent Blade to do some errands, despite his huffs of annoyance he agreed and went giving you the perfect time to set up. Footsteps made their way to the front door and the key could heard slipping into the keyhole. As the door knob turned you all prepared yourselves.

The minute Blade stepped into the house tiredly the lights flicked on and the four of you stood up, together you shouted "Surprise!" Blade didn't react. He just stood there with a blank expression on his face. The room filled with a bit of tension before he just sighed and gave a small smile.

"Hmfp. That explains the mysterious box in the fridge you wouldn't let me touch."
