You loathed the idea of dating anyone in this ghoul organization. When you first joined, you did not want to have to do anything with the other lower subordinates. Instead, you rose through the ranks, proving yourself a worthy adversary for the organization that caught the attention of the executives. You became an executive just a few months into joining, with your band of ghouls under your liege.

Still, you didn't even acknowledge your rank, just wanting to feast on the humans and kill off the Doves that ever tried to come into your ward, your territory for human food and valuable resources. And while you did make some 'friends', temporary or just plain allies, you didn't dare try to make yourself too comfortable with them. They had their methods of killing and you had yours. But now...

At first, you thought the broken and stepped-on flowers left in your room were just a prank pulled by Nico. But when it came to bloodied jewelry, fresh off the victim's fingers, neck, or ears, it was starting to become painfully obvious that someone in the Aogiri Tree was leaving these behind on purpose.

You ignore them of course but the gifts kept coming. From the blooded jewelry and broken flowers, to now being left with crisp mangas and books from nearby bookstores and even some fresh cups of coffee.

"Whoever is doing this, they must like you~!" Nico told you with a slight giggle one day when he saw the jewelry. The old man knew who it was but refused to tell you anything. "Why don't you try and catch them to see who it is? Might be a fun game to play."

You took on Nico's advice, against your better judgment, and decided to hide among the dark shadows of the abandoned hallways of the abandoned base all members lived on. You watched in silence until you saw the familiar figure walking towards your room.

It was Ayato, one of the executives and most ill-tempered of them all. In his hand, he held a cup of coffee and an old book. He looked up and down the hallway before he placed them in front of your bedroom door.
